Luxury CBD brand Thryv Organics is preparing to propel its growth trajectory after landing its first investment partner: Alex Snodgrass of The Defined Dish.
They are a fitting pair, as the Snodgrass name carries some weight in the local health and wellness space.
The Dallas-based blogger is the foodie behind The Defined Dish, a carefully curated online space where she shares Whole30 and Paleo-compliant recipes, lifestyle tips, and little glimpses of her days. As of September 20, she had 610,000 followers on Instagram.
Snodgrass also has a corresponding cookbook of the same name, which earned it a spot on The New York Times Best Sellers listing. In December, she released her second cookbook, The cozy kitchen: 105 casual, healthy and healthy recipes.
In a blog post today, Snodgrass shares that she only works with companies that both align with The Defined Dish’s views and which she feels personally passionate about. As a brand ambassador, she had incorporated Thryv Organics products into her daily routine throughout the past year.
This led it to become its first official investment partner.
“One of the things we admire most about Alex is his ability to expand his influence beyond social media,” Thryv co-founder Stacie Czech said in a press release. “By investing in brands that she truly loves, she has raised the definition of a social media influencer. We are honored to work with her in this capacity.
Meet Thryv Organics: A Complete CBD Suite
In 2019, Czech co-founder Kristi Kelly officially launched Thryv Organics as a luxury CBD brand. The two East Dallas women were health-conscious parents and caregivers, and saw the need for a “healthy, organic alternative to over-prescribed pharmaceuticals.”
The Dallas-based company initially planned to catapult the burgeoning CBD trend. In the same year, industrial cultivation of hemp – a cousin of the cannabis plant without enough THC to cause intoxicating effects – was legalized by Texas House Bill 1325.
CBD oil with 0.3% or less THC is also legal here.
But when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, Czech and Kelly, like retailers across the country, had to temporarily close their physical store on Garland Road.
Since then, the women-owned company has strived to become a trusted source in the industry, offering a range of wellness, education and support products to customers.
It sells USDA-certified organic CBD oils, as well as gummy candies, balms, bath bombs, and pet products suitable for vegans. The ultimate goal is the daily relief of pain, stress, anxiety, performance, etc., without resorting to traditional medicine.
All of this comes with a commitment to transparency. Czech and Kelly also offer free product and dosage consultations and CBD 101 on their site.
“I really love Thryv Organics, and working with them as an Ambassador has been such a pleasure, but what really makes me love Thryv Organics is Kristi and Stacie’s passion behind CBD,” Snodgrass said. in a press release. “Their high standards for the products they create and their constant drive to help others is what sets their company and their product apart from others. “
In its role as investor and stakeholder, Snodgrass will offer co-founders its expert advice on how to grow. She will also continue to serve as a brand ambassador. The team has already created the “Alex Bundle” of Snodgrass’ three must-have items.
The announcement comes in the middle of National Personal Care Month, which Snodgrass, Czech and Kelley are all champions.
“Alex has been a true supporter of Thryv Organics since our launch, so it made sense for us to take our partnership to the next level,” said Kelley. “We are incredibly grateful for her support and look forward to working more closely with her as we continue to develop the Thryv Organics brand.”
